St Peter’s CE Academy was described in its most recent Ofsted report as “a vibrant hub of the community,” situated in Chippenham with approximately 170 pupils age 4-11. The children benefit from a broad and creative curriculum and have access to the school’s vegetable garden, which helped it to achieve the Bronze Eco Schools award. It also has links with Christophe Plantin School in France and Mukono School in Uganda, enabling the pupils to have a unique understanding of different cultures, languages and geographical landscapes. Awarded “Good” by Ofsted and “Outstanding” by SIAMs, the school was praised for the way that each child is nurtured and valued as an individual, with everyone’s talents celebrated. The school joined the Diocese of Bristol Academies Trust in 2014.
